Tesla Boy is a Russian band with an album out called "The Universe Made Of Darkness"... and it kicks ass over SO much dross out there at the moment, it rides a crooning 80s, early 90s house vibe with synths a plenty and a uber dancy vibe, it has a collab with Azari &III on one track and its signature tune "1991" is now my ring tone because it is just the most happy upbeat 90s house tune ever! I don't usually blog about bands that don't have free downloads or aren't unsigned but I highly doubt many people have heard of these guys and you really should even if they do ride the wave close to cheese island now and then.. Download from itunes.

Mr.Incognito
Mr.Incognito is pretty anonymous but has one of the best instrumental downtempo hip hop albums I've heard for ages. Bandcamp is the domain of this artist and the album "93 to Infinity" is just stacked with 90s samples and chilled synth washed beats. It's all late night stoner introspection and chill net graphics, while the opening track "1993" has a more 8bit vibe. Go download the album for free.

Closer by Regal Safari
Killer new track from Regal Safari, seemingly more epic, dancey and upbeat, but still with that monotone glacial space to it that makes them so great. Large good quality sounds systems needed.

Shisa - Finer Red
Finer Red by Shisa is a killer album that came out in March and I've kept meaning to blog about it for a while now. Shisa's sound has evolved a great deal from when I used to blog about the early releases and mixtapes back in late 2011. A fully rounded sound that plays around with future-house, chill down-tempo, ambient and juke sometimes all within one track. Intellectual progressive dance music for late night sessions.
The album is free to download from Bandcamp, go grab it now while you can.

Sheen
Sheen have a great post-punk shoegaze sound all melancholic drifting and melodic, great clear chiming guitar that at points evokes early Sonic Youth all topped with a vocal that bests most out there. It's all really good, this is a band that should to have an edge of success about them if the world knows its stuff. Download their demos from Soundcloud for free.

Gone - The Circle Is Open But Never Broken
Interesting experimental ambient downtempo sounds from an artist called Gone and an album called "The Circle Is Open But Never Broken". Quiet, beautiful and very textural this dark gothic soundscape reads like a film score to a forgotten 8mm art movie. All analogue in its execution there is more richness to this album than a lot of other artists of a similar ilk. There's also a lot of loose song writing and vocals permeating through, creating a fogged out mash of sounds.
Download "The Circle Is Open But Never Broken" for free from Bandcamp, and check out and download the other two similar and equally good albums called "The Darkling" and "Sins Of The Visitation"
Butterclock - First Prom
Butterclock has an EP called First Prom out which kind of cements her sound and is a début record of sorts. To buy/download it you have to go to iTunes like a proper person.
This EP is killer, a haunting mix a Parisian sounding vocals and slow rave RnB. This is just so good, like taking something oOoOO might have done and crawling all over it with layers of shimmering fogged out vocal. Gorgeous dark pop.
Check out the video as well!

Slutcore
Hardstyle is pretty much nightcore with more bass... it's also is fucking brilliant sometimes. Here is a bunch of tracks by someone on Soundcloud called Slutcore. They're all free to download.
Some nightcore
Here have some Nightcore! I've always been a fan of what is essentially a one trick remix effect but sometimes it just hits the spot so well. These are all free to download from a project by some dude actually calling himself "Nightcore" grab them from his Soundcloud.

Superfood - TV demo
Only 4 hours in and the Superfood TV demo up on Soundcloud is getting lot of hits, it's a bouncy, discordant indie pop track from a band with a totally British sound. Listen and love it. For American audiences perhaps not yet up on this band they could be lumped in with a whole bunch of new 90s Brit sound evoking bands such as Peace, Swim Deep, Jaws, Wolf Alice, Classic Plastic and Entertainment amongst others. Great stuff.
Classic Plastic
I shot this bands first video and now they have an EP out, you can download it for free from their Bandcamp. Their sound revels in all the best moments of '90s Brit Pop, soaring and instantly catchy tunes that stick like glue in your head. The production on these four tracks is also one of the things that really makes this record, brining to mind some of the best of late 90s British bands from Suede and Supergrass to Space and The Bluetones but all with a firmly cemented foothold in 2013. Killer songwriting.
Royal Limp
Royal Limp can be sheer genius at times, just take a listen to the first track below from like seven months ago. They have a 7" coming out on Italian Beach Babes this summer and an LP on a yet to be disclosed label entitled 'Anxiety Songs'. A great band. Check them on Facebook, and Soundcloud.

In2 The Darkness
New Glass Teeth track! Hard and whipping, almost dropping into a dupstep wobble but keeping firmly on the Death Rave side of the police tape."In2 The Darkness" download from Soundcloud.

Moscow Club
Moscow Club are great, I'm not sure exactly what it is but these Japanese guys have some kind of original vein of influences that they are mining in perfect seclusion from most other indie/synth bands, you can hear close similarities but nothing really that comes close, tropical, funky, synthy '80s/'90s and revisionist but all done in such an original feeling way that it leaves me spun out and skidding helplessly on the wet tarmac of blogging. Love it.

Crim3s still goin
Now I really loved the new Crim3s Stay Ugly EP but they've just gone and put out a new track and it is by far my favourite song they have ever made... and I'm not even at the end of listening to it as I type. This is THE Crim3s track. Ripped with heartache and blistering beats, menacing time signatures and adhd synth trills, Sadies vocals switching between her throat tearing scream and a new grungy anthemic gospel sound, a classic rave anthem format updated for 2013. Oh and the song is called "Still Goin" which has loads of great angsty implications.
Download for free or "pay what you want" from their Bandcamp.
Skinny Reptile Youth
Spanish/Italian electro duo Skinny Reptile Youth make punk dance in the same vein as they stick the crushed up Crystal Castles cds, mainlined dark dance for cheap bedrooms and sticky nights.
They haven't even met except through the usual digital interfaces and are looking for money to meet and play in real life. (Arent we all.) Listen for a more than a few seconds and you'll discover these guys are better than you might think!
Download their EP for free from Bandcamp here.
Necro Deathmort
Just discovered Necro Deathmort. Relentless Industrial progressive black metal. Heavy as fuck and twice as atmospheric, the soundtrack to the heat death of the universe played across cold boiling seas of liquid methane on orphan moons spiralling forever into darkness. I want to see these dudes live, I imagine it slays like a pro.

Feebz - Ride video
Blissed Out's production and video skills keep on brap braping with this new Feebz track. Brooklyn lower case rap skills and video magic.
River Bones
As much as I would like to stop blogging With House, there keep being great releases and great new artists working with that sound, stuff too good to let slip by. French artist River Bones is just one such Witch House bothering genius. I'm a sucker for drone and bass, for slow apocalyptic beats and giant fuzz, before the Witchian sound it was Doom and drone artist that brought that to me but since 2010 it's usually Witch House with its beautiful gift of huge synth chords and slow rave celestial magic. Rive Bones has that to give and more. Subtle then brash, gentle then hard as. Epic and eternal with jittering pre-Trap beats and soaring saw-toothed synth melodies. Go download the ten track album called Icon from Bandcamp (Pay what you what or download for free)
KKING FELIXX
KKING FELIXX is the new musical project from Ellah A. Thaun with a full length album called "49 hearts" released at the end of March this year. It's beautiful psychedelic folk songs are layered in drone and hypnotic effected vocals. It's bliss folk, lo-fi and laced with an authentic grungy beauty. This is something really really special. I urge you to go download it from the Bandcamp for free and listen to it in its entirety in a flower filled field somewhere with the one you love.

Return to Mt. Moon
Yet another great new Fifty Grand track, labelling itself as "drip hop" which I guess could be the description of what happens when Seapunk dries up. This whistling melodied, wave sampling, slow stalker of a track loops along all chilled and confident, no rush, no need to instantly tell you its a killer. Much like the last track to come out a month or so ago its a slow grower that knows its good enough to not need a bunch of fireworks in there from the get go. Click through to find the free download.
Capac remix of Shy Nature
Shy Nature hail from North London and make 21st Century indie with backlinks to early turn of the century New York bands and anthemic British classics, people will like them I don't need to persuade anyone of that. For me though the remix by Capac of the main single they are touting "Deadly Sin" is just sublime, a shuffling shake of guitar twanging and minimal beats.
Dont look out for Shy Nature, look out for Capac.
