Yuno - Sunlight

Unouomedude... now simply the much better titled Yuno is setting about releasing a whole load of new music, here is his most recent offering Sunlight a kick ass dream pop track that has you up on your toes from the off. It's upbeat and chilled at the same time which is a great feeling, such a good song from such a great artist. Psychedelic Moses - Polycom Vol 2

Brilliant compilation from a Japanese label called Psychedelic Moses. I know nothing about this label or the artist featured other than it's really good! And free to download.This is beautiful bitter-sweet pop that ranges from glacial down tempo instrumentals to sparkly guitar led pop songs with vocals and eveything, it sounds ace and different. Go get it.

LKBK by Porteur

Beautiful beautiful beautiful.. dreamy washed out seasons of noise and wonder washing over you with airs of guitars and vocals half tattered in the wind. Echoing snippets caught in nostalgias warm grip peeling to your ears from some distance, you think of M83, of chillwavers, of teenage sad guitars and bedroom moods, lost in a fog of reverb and jewel like glittering magic. This album is the tits. Go get it, it's called LKBK, its by Porteur and its out on Holy Page records. Genius.

EveryQuest

EveryQuest are a UK dream-pop trio making cosmic spaced out indie, all psychedelic and chilled with synths and reverb and downtempo beats. It's really beautiful and a really good listen. There are a few free downloads on their Soundcloud but not loads. I guess they'll be putting out a record soon. 

PUZZLES by Datsyuk

Datsyuk is Mark Michalski and Brooke Lohman making soothing droned out sleep over jams. This is lo-fi dream pop chill stuff, all reverb and echo and epic sweeping synths, whispered howls of vocals and all. Puzzles is a 15 minute tape of theirs out on Magic Rub Cassettes.. it's good. Listen and buy it's only $5!

Outer Limitz - I Kontact

The second artist today with Seapunk leanings is Outer Limitz, who has a great single out through the label Hippos In Tanks. Its a bouncy summer dream-pop funked out tune that runs carefree through the edge of the surf before heading back up to the beach and inland to higher ground. Single on iTunes now.

Bewilderbeast - Running

Great dream pop for you now from Bewilderbeast. The EP called "Running" is available on cassette from the tiny online label Airlines Tapes. It comes as limited edition 3D packs (for the first 20 tapes sold), Cassette + Digital download code, A3 3D poster + 3D glasses designed by Mowgli Omari, Diamond encrusted cassette case, BONUS material included on the digital album including Remixes + PDF's of 3D posters!

All that for $6 Australian dollars! Or you can download the album for $4. Its worth it!

Virgin Blood - Dreamt My Lover

Out on Holy Page Records the new Virgin Blood cassette release is unfortunately now sold out (unfortunate if you haven't got a copy!) But on the Bandcamp page it's now available for free download! This is minimal ghost pop, ambient crystalline and drifting, so far it seems everything Virgin Blood does is just brilliant and I highly recommend you go download this now and look out for the next physical release whenever that comes out!

Joseph Stallion

Jospeh Stallion are a duo from Minneapolis who remind me a bit of fellow spaced out, dream pop, semi RnB, indie space cadets jj. Joseph Stallion's angelic vocals soar over downtempo beats and dragged electro feelings creating a hypnotic ethereal ice-scape of sounds. Its all very good.

Virgin Blood

Portlands Virgin Blood makes epic blissed out ambient dream pop, the sort of thing much vaunted on the Sewer Greats, no dancing here but definitely some drifting through glittering Unicorn Drone landscapes, shimmering waterfall rich cloud banks of eternal delight. Orchestral dream world music for late nights and early morning collapsed on the mossy banks of diamond streams slowly coming round as the angels lift off your body and flap off into the dawn skies. Virgin Bloods Soundcloud has loads of free downloads so go check it.

Virgin Blood has also collaborated with Ormus to create an album called Gold which is an even more dream like ambient piece, released last November it's available from Bandcamp for "name your price" and its well worth a penny or two as it lulls you into its  sumptuous blissed out fog of light and wonder.
