Apollo Vermouth -Sacred Flowers

"Midsummer --
I walk about with my staff.
Old farmers spot me
And call me over for a drink.
We sit in the fields using leaves for plates.
Pleasantly drunk and so happy I drift off peacefully
Sprawled out on a paddy bank.

How can I possibly sleep
This moonlit evening?
Come, my friends,
Let’s sing and dance
All night long.

Stretched out,
Tipsy,
Under the vast sky:
Splendid dreams
Beneath the cherry blossoms.

Wild roses,
Plucked from fields
Full of croaking frogs:
Float them in your wine
And enjoy every minute!"

You can however download it for free and you really should if you like this kind of thing.

KVLT

KVLT by KVLT is a fantastic ambient album, 5 tracks of pure perfect minimalised crystal sound, majestic piano inflections and glacial droning dirged out atmospherics to die for. Beautiful like a National Geographic photo of a crocus pushing through newborn snow that has been scruffed up and lost down the back of a dusty Victorian cabinet.

Arbee

Arbee is from Quebec and creates truly ambient soundscapes, quiet, minimal and considered. Sometimes a loose beat filters its way into a track but often its a world of spaced beauty and free floating noise. Check out this artists Bandcamp for a huge range of quality records to download.

Bijou, Icelandic glo-fi future step.

Bijou describes herself as "Dream Faerie, I make music while living in the forest. She is a girl from Iceland who makes ethereal drifting spider web music, quite half sung/spoken songs all quiet and magical like a more gothic Boards Of Canada. Minimal, slow and atmospheric, she also collaborates widely with a whole slew of glo-fi, ambient artists, her sleepy whispering vocal style fitting perfectly. She also records soundscapes and acapella vocal tracks, all of which are up on her Soundcloud and available to download and play with.

She's also made a blinding mixtape, like really really good! Plus I've heard of very few of the artists on it. Check it out:

Circular Ruins by Congregations

Circular Ruins by Congregations is an album of experimental ambient noise and post rock awe-and-wonder, full of nature sounds, drifting distant electronic rumbles, scattered vocal stretches and dark glistening feedback intonations. the album comes with the instruction to "listen to at night" and I imagine the would be the ideal time, hopefully also while walking alone through a woodland or muddy field your eyes barely picking out the landscape around you. Go download this album from Bandcamp for "name your price".

Seedge - Saturates

Seedge is a 21-year-old producer from Montreal who make experimental electro-acoustic music along the lines of Warp's more chilled out prog artists there are shades of Boards Of Canada or Burial in there. He releases a lot of EPs, four this year so far.

His latest the "Saturates" EP is a spacey chillwavian little number while earlier releases (like "Shorter Moods which was mashed together using an iphone or "The Killer Kisser Series, Part One" which is more glitchy and trip hop in feel) are more beat driven and experimental. He has 14 EPs up his Bandcamp go check some of them out!
