Ritulaz - Outworld Music Vol 2

The new Ritualz EP is a stunner, Volume II of IV of Outworld Music, a darker spacier unrelenting sound that still keeps that cavernous stadium doom feel, epic club music for the end of the world. Its a great series of EPs he's putting out, managing to make the most dirty saw-toothed trance synth dirges sound reall ethereal and beautiful. Download now for $4 from his Bandcamp

Ritualz - Hypermotion X

Ritulaz - Hyermotion X. Out on Mishka. This  came out ages ago (May) but I think I never got round to blogging it. It's epic as all hell and so well produced, what you can expect from Ritualz really. This EP unlike the others is more sci-fi in mood, if that's a thing. Download it for free here.

Ritualz - Outworld Music 1

Ritualz graduated from Witch House sounds ages ago and now his own particular brand of new-age goth post-trance is really coming into its own. Outworld Music 1 is the first in what will be a series of EP releases and came out before the EP released on the Mishka label. "..these eps are meant to be different from other Ritualz releases, a way to explore new sounds being 90s trance, world and new age music the main influences behind these first 4 tracks." Download it now for $4 from Bandcamp. Well worth it.

Hypermotion X

Finally got round to listening to the new Ritualz EP hypermotion X out on the Mishka record label. It's a cyberpunk ambient post Witchian epic all sprawling soundtrack sounds and dirging noise. This could soundtrack Prometheus very well. Perhaps much like Daft Punk, Ritualz will go down the film route...
The EP is free to download from Bandcamp here.

春 - Ritualz mixtape

Ritualz just dropped a mix for Vice Italy a week back, it's free to download and it kicks ass! Starting off with a time stretched version of the X Files theme tune and progressing into a chaotic film sountrack of sound and noise, slow beats and wonder.
It's free to download from Soundcloud so go grab it now! Ritualz also has a split EP with Funerals called Hypermotion coming out on the Mishka label in June. Exciting!

Free download from Veils.

Just released this February comes an EP out of Portugal by Veils. Very much a Witch House sound all saw-toothed over driven synth drones, off kilter down tempo beats and echoing ethereal vocals its a sound we have heard before quite a bit. But this is good, like really good if you like the kind of sound Witch House artists produced, this is something special because its so nicely put together. Its epic and rumbling like the best tracks by Ritualz and it's beautiful and delicate like something from Salem when they're on a comedown. Go download it for free from Bandcamp.

SHADES - your pop star of 2012

This is big.. SHADES is Ana, a young girl from Mexico City whose music is produced by the brilliant Witch House artists Ritualz and Teehn Bwitches.

This is emotional DIY pop, all 2012 and future, sucking in great little influences and styles; reggaeton, jungle, drum&bass, trip-hop, post rave etc. All made in an entirely DIY fashion but with the ambition a major label pop star. Mexico to the world in 2012.

SHADES is managed and produced by Negative Youth, a group of creative individuals also from Mexico City who do all kinds of DIY media things, parties, music etc, Ritualz and Teehn Bwitches are part of their number. Its exciting next level stuff, a proper pop star emerging from the fuzzed out chaos of Witch House, genious! The debut SHADES EP is coming soon. Watch this space. And check her Tumblr.

New Blissed Out EP!

Here's a new mixtape/free digital EP released by Blissed Out! Entitled "Blissed Out - I" its got a collaboration with Ritualz on it and some super sweet tracks all tinged with Euro trance feelings and low dirty hip hop stylings. The question we have to ask ourselves is"will it blend?" ..and yeah its awesome! "I" features eight new, original songs all written, produced and recorded by Alex Winter in New York, with the exception of "Midnight," which he co-wrote with Ritualz.

The EP is streaming on Soundloud but can be downloaded from mediafire here. My favourite songs off this EP are definitely BANG BANG and Outro, the first for its great off kilter beat and the second for its spaced out old skool rave feel. Brillliant
