Fostercare's new EP Stray.

2011's Post Rave/Slow House sounds from the likes of Pictureplane, Story Of Isaac, oFF, Teengirl Fantasy, Tash Willmore, High Park, Micro Naps, Stoned Boyz etc now gets another top up with Fostercare's latest EP Stray. Available from Bandcamp for "name your price" its a blinding piece of weirdness hip hop and 2012 rave, with track titles like I Ate The Knife and Bling A Bitch. This EP is the first of 5 he is going to release over the next year.

This is a next level DIY video thing by Fostercare - brilliant! The track is off the upcoming new EP. For some reason it makes me think of that film Party Monster for some reason dunno why.

Fostercare is a Witch House artist making really good intelligent R&B inspired experimental electronica, its dark rave feel and druggy down-tempo leaning tempered by more upbeat glitchy and over-driven stompers of tracks. Techno-psychedelic Witch House trances washing over you in layers of rich pulsating waves, spectres on the sonic air, pushing you to strange rap tinged lands. Blissful then chaotic this artist has released his 2nd album Second Thoughts and it's 14 tracks are available from Bandcamp for just one dollar for the lot! Check it out if you like interesting electronica just as much as if you like Witch House or stuff like that.

This is a 15 minute video excerpt and photos from the gig on Monday that showcased Mater Suspiria Vision and Fostercare in the UK in London. Around about 5 minutes into the video is when shit starts getting freaky, the dancers go into trances and everything goes totally haunted! The photos taken from MSVs Facebook profile were originally from the Teddy Fitzhugh blog which has a lot of amazing gig pics on it. That dude either has an amazing camera or just mad skills 'cos every photo kicks ass! (Also this gig looks like it was amazing! Sucks that I couldn't make it along, Witch House girls are HOT!)

To celebrate the release of ISVOLT, a nine track compilation featuring many of the acts on the groundbreaking and progressive DISARO Records. BITE has teamed up with GOD DON’T LIKE IT, who will be releasing the limited edition compilation (via Robot Elephant Records), and have arranged to bring two of their favourite DISARO acts, to play at BITE, for not only the first time in London, but the first time in the UK.

Also on board are, Super Super, who were the first magazine to champion the DISARO label and drag/witch house movement, making them cover stars of issue #21 back in July 2010. Also, London based label Long Clothing, will be collaborating with the in house Disaro artist Jim Weigel (OWLEYES) who will be creating an extremely limited edition Disaro Records t shirt which is being created for and will ONLY be available at this show.

"An audio visual experience settling quite anxiously in between pleasure and terror, expect to walk away from this feeling shaken to your very core. Pop music strangled, chopped up, and left for dead."

Plus a DJ set from Spencer from Rough Trade who has been championing the drag/witch house genre.
