Mater Suspiria Visions Tilburg show, video and pics!

Witch House grand Masters Mater Suspiria Vision played at Parodox in Tilburg Netherlands on the 6th of this month and it looks like it was one of their best so far!! London's show might have had some amazing witchy dancers but wow nothing tops this amazing metal winged dancer looking like something out of Terry Gilliams Brazil! (See the first image above.)

Also check out these black and white photos from the gig in this Flickr photo stream, really amazing!

Green Door Store opening night revelry!

Green Door Store opening night party. from fokka wolfe on Vimeo.

My view of the opening night at Brighton's hottest new venue the Green Door Store. I got very drunk and stumbled about and enjoyed it all immensely and just shot some random footage, but its enjoyable and informative none the less..
Featuring the track Why by the ever awesome La La Vasquez off of their latest 7" available from M'lady records. And playing us out amidst chaotic crowd surfing and general merry making is the final band of the night Cold Pumas.

MC Fashion live!

Footage from the first UK gig by Mater Suspiria Vision.

This is a 15 minute video excerpt and photos from the gig on Monday that showcased Mater Suspiria Vision and Fostercare in the UK in London. Around about 5 minutes into the video is when shit starts getting freaky, the dancers go into trances and everything goes totally haunted! The photos taken from MSVs Facebook profile were originally from the Teddy Fitzhugh blog which has a lot of amazing gig pics on it. That dude either has an amazing camera or just mad skills 'cos every photo kicks ass! (Also this gig looks like it was amazing! Sucks that I couldn't make it along, Witch House girls are HOT!)

oFF & GR†LLGR†LL did it LIVE..

oFF & GR†LLGR†LL just played a gig together in Berlin it was the début gig for GR†LLGR†LL and the two of them did a collaborative set sat together in bed! It seems like it was a pretty awesome event with Gay Mormon Kissing Club feat Butterclock Djs and loads of other stuff including a "Special Altar Installation" by Blaike Herzig.

Their collaborative set is an interesting and novel performance that moves from auto tuned R&B vocals over buzzing noise to feedback and chanting, from doomy drones and quiet piano movements to anthemic choral drag samples and back to static hiss.

Check out the video below of part of the GR†LLGR†LL and oFF set.

I popped down to film at the ever awesome night Sex Is Disgusting on monday night.

The line up was amazing - Meddicine, Peepholes and Naked On the Vague!

I only got there to catch the end of Meddicine's set and by the time Naked On The Vague played my camera battery had gone so I only caught Peepholes set is on film. Check it out below and look out for some powerful bass feed back at points! These guys are brilliant, no one else realy sounds like them, its all so joyous and frantic. Check it out!

Yuck at The Hope in Brighton. 6/10/2010.

Yuck are a great multi national four piece based in London who make a great kind of warm fuzzy guitar based sound. Classic indie Americana. With a drummer who sports an amazing afro!

I filmed the footage below last Wednesday when they played at The Hope in Brighton.

Pussycat And The Dirty Johnsons.

Pussycat And The Dirty Johnsons - Afraid Of The Dark from fokka wolfe on Vimeo.

Furry fronted Joan Jet-esque Rock'nRoll/Rockabilly from Pussycat And The Dirty Johnsons. I filmed these two songs when they played at The Hope in Brighton last saturday -2nd October. And you have a choice of Vimeo and YouTube to watch due to Vimeos weekly upload limit.

She is the most mesmerising front women I've seen in ages for obvious red blooded reasons.
