Skeleton Lipstick

Philadelphia's Skeleton Lipstick have released their début 10-track album 'Glows Then Melts' available to download from Airline Tapes Bandcamp. An album of 80's horror sounds merged with summer haze and synth warmed sunshine. Slow fuzzed out downtempo with glimmering electro moments.

Arian A Jalali

Bass driven post punk sounds by Arian A Jalali, sounding close to true blue '80s northern melancholia via a bit of Interpol. Quality. All I know of this artist is that they are from Portland. You can download one of the tracks from Soundcloud or the player below.

Daybehavior - A Train to Moscow

Fire Coral

New track from Birmingham's Fire Coral a bouncy '80s synth little number called Transient Bliss that jerks along until its done like a proverbial sailor on shore leave, its melody trailing a sticky white line of yoga cat effigies behind in its wake. Download from the player below

80's Stallone - Hotline

80s Stallone always has a name that make the music that much better but with this album, Hotline, a twelve track journey into sweat flung, red throbbing dance floors and noir curling synth wonderlands the killer name is but a cute aside to what is clearly one amazing album. Download it for £7 from Bandcamp now. Pure synth pop groin thrusting cheese and wonder, housey blissed out moments giving way to down right filthy EBM for get fit classes on steroids, sweatbands at the ready, hit the floor and give me two hundred while looking me in the eye.

Cassida Pax

Another great lo-fi Dream Pop/Surf sounding guitar band, Cassida Pax. This EP "Sin By Proxy" is a minimal guitar, vocal and minmal percussion thing that sounds very much like it was recorded on 4 track tape in someone's cold damp basement flat in 1987. Beautiful, sad and understated. Despite its mournful "just broke up with my girlfriend and wondering the cemetery drinking cold tea" kind of feel its produced by someone living out in sunny as fuck California. Download the EP from Bandcamp now.

SILENX

Night headaches, glossy streets, glittering keys in spotlit motion, the moon like a boiling disco ball glowering out over a Miami backwater, driving till your teeth ache, sun in your eyes, no way back, echoing signals relayed across infinity, reverb rich and drenched in a universal beach vibe, planet to planet galaxy to galaxy, always the same, dancing under foreign skies on alien drugs, time and distance no longer relevant, beach parties in the outer rim of a distant spiral arm of the Andromeda galaxy, lost amongst the waves, calling out into the night, the sky shimmering with every possible party out there, rev the engine, smile, sit back watch the counter tick into the red, release and away, forever looping to another beach on another world, for ever.

A new find... Silenxthis artist hails from Portugal and makes 80s feeling chillwave Balaeric sounds all synthed up to the max. There are a whole heap of free downloads on his Soundcloud so you should go check it out.

Secrets - Ambition

“The music on this disc was inspired by the near winners of the 2012 Olympic Games. In particular those athletes who were groomed for gold and yet didn’t quite live up to their countries expectations. Both tracks one and two of this disc are meditations on those moments filtered through my own personal struggles. We should never stop being awed by individuals that do extraordinary things. More importantly we should relish our own victories, be it making a fancy dinner for friends, getting dressed in the morning or walking in the footsteps of our dreams.” - Secrets

Synth dreams and 80's-esque crooning grooves. Buy now for "name your price" at Bandcamp.

Veracom debut album.

Out on Amdiscs is VΞRACOM's first full proper release, this is a spacey synth wonder of crooning magic and space rhythm. This is Amdiscs statement to accompany the release:

"VΞRACOM is Ryan Groch based out of Dallas, upon our mutual agreement we decided to collaborate with VERACOM CORP. LTD ALL RIGHTS RESERVED on its first release. It was designed back in the date of proto utopian manifestos when googling pixelized background images of beaches haven't been possible nor taken for essential ritual of pertinent paradise. As the time progressed the ultimate telos emerged awarefully, it have been heavy-sampled, some lush filled vocals have taken their place in the structure, and all-powerfull love have been inhaled that now maintains the tint on the speed of light."

Get the album here.
