Vagina Vangi

Vagina Vangi were Russian a band that appeared around the same time as Witch House arose, they made some amazing tunes then disappeared off the radar a bit. Well if you want here are their two EPs from 2010 and 2011 - now up on Bandcamp. A mix of Witch House, Electro, Nu Metal and chart dubstep, very very epic sounding, and really good. They should be releasing a new record soon.

Sirius B by Voronoi

"Two geeks in Brooklyn making music for late night joyrides through long tunnels." This is Voronoi, electronic noise, synth moods, throbbing, swirling and almost dubstep like, with live drums over the top. This is dubstep made by minimal wave synth nerds from the  early '80s who got to listen to the future through some kind of sonic portal. It's free to download from Bandcamp.

Fifty Grand

Slow bass wraith music, heavy but without a dubstep wobble, crystaline late night fuzzed out jams, slow electronic dream hop, drum and noise. The artist is Fifty Grand, a new signing to the Aural Sects label I think. All Soundclouds tracks are free to download. so go grab 'em.

Previously called donaldf▽ck this artist is now going by the name S1NN3RS but is still creating the same late night fuzzed out, slow low, drug and bass. The newest track called Mermaid is a quite a winner though even if you're not a fan of this kind of sound. Go download it and anything else from their Soundcloud page now!

Heavy duty gangsta brooding, scrunch and grind, industrial dubstep slooow techno, that still somehow reminds me of Zombelle's seapunk raps. ▲BRUXA▲ has been putting out stuff for a while but this track released last month really slays , all sexual and grinding on your lap even though you dont have the dollar to pay for the dance.

Tropical gansta and the first real live mountain gorilla in the music business the awesomely title Ebola Ape (or ∑bol∆ ∆P∑ ) has finally gone and released the damn brilliant album called Jungle Omen, a heady and infectious mix of dubstep, Witch House, Seapunk and ambient Jungle all filtered through a bad dial-up connection from deepest reaches of the Congonese rainforest. Cryst▲llized is an artist from London creating some brilliant and I mean brilliant bass heavy epic drifting beat and soundscape masterpieces, "post dubstep" is a phrase that does this dude down this is sonically awesome, melodic and beautiful and almost danceable. 
Sometimes it leads you down a path of dark skies and collapsing brooks all dreamy next it's rave dubstep beat is almost eclipsed by post-rock landscape guitar wafting in all of a sudden then a garage beat scrambles up, then its lost. Listen with headphones while absailing down the Eiffel Tower. There are three free downloads to grab from Soundcloud so go get.

Moonbase Commander free EP.

Wow I know people can be eclectic but this is something else, Moonbase Commander describes his "Outer Space Is a Lovely Place" EP as beats and Dubstep and yeah thats in there but also there is a lot of experimentation, ambient chillwave-ish tracks, glitch noise parts, 8-bit melodies, lounge-core, nod-core and all manner of chilled out beat moods. Its an eclectic 8 track EP from Sydney but its pretty damn nice. Plus its free to download from Bandcamp!

✝ DE△D VIRGIN ✝ - Anxieties

For some reason I waited on blogging the latest ✝ DE△D VIRGIN ✝ release called Anxieties insane as that is! Its quite a change from the last EP setting itself up as a brilliant dancey Witch House beat filled affair, something more akin to old Warp label stuff but through the filter of modern aesthetics. Sometimes its fast and breaky at other points really dubstep and evil, more a dark dance release than a slow drag thing. Darkwave but urbanised, a drum and bass take on Suspiria. Ghetto gothic. Doomstep.
