There are just some cities that are winners at different times and Denver home to Pictureplane amongst others is at the moment really winning. Here is a band from Denver called Alphabets... they are really really prolific... just check out the landing page of their Bandcamp! Just choose a cover you like the look of and click through to download for a nominal price of two dollars an album... there are 31 albums/EPs in just three years it seems, all with awesome artwork and tons of tracks! Label under experimental electronic dance pop.
While I'm on a Pictureplane tip, here's a great collab done with the equally awesome NVR MND label; they make some great clothes and brilliant designs and Pictureplane has a series of collages, prints and t.shirts available to buy through them. Proper cool it is too so go check it out.
Stoned Boys are my favourite Russian band, here is a new track free to download from their Soundcloud page, a remix of Silent Island by Russian artist Make. Stoned Boys are awesome dance producers along the lines of Pictureplane or Teengirl Fantasy post-rave for the niche clubbing era.
Cant stop loving Pictureplane's stuff so thought I'd post the other free download tracks from Soundcloud up here in case you guys haven't got them. The final track is always a winner. Label it all what you will.. Shoe Rave, Dream Rave, Infinite Pop, Witch House, Blood Rave, all are good.. and all are Travis's own track labels! This stuff is just unstoppable in your ears, once it gets in there! Come on people lets get him back to Brighton I stupidly missed the last show!
