Finally we here some new stuff from oOoOO, yes! Mouchette is a hard and dirty groove that is just brilliant and makes you look forward to what ever release oOoOO puts out next.

Butterclock - First Prom

Butterclock has an EP called First Prom out which kind of cements her sound and is a début record of sorts. To buy/download it you have to go to iTunes like a proper person.

This EP is killer, a haunting mix a Parisian sounding vocals and slow rave RnB. This is just so good, like taking something oOoOO might have done and crawling all over it with layers of shimmering fogged out vocal.  Gorgeous dark pop.

Sadhands

Sadhands are from Cape Town in South Africa and make brilliant down-tempo alt beat shit, all glacial future RnB, ambient and soundscapey, quiet, brooding and dark. It's a good listen and well worth downloading. Reminds me of someone like oOoOO, Clams Casino or oFF.

o F F - CloseToU (oOoOO Remix)

o F F is fast becoming one of my favorite artists of the moment. This guy is just making some amazing music and producing a sound that is really unique - really pop and R&B but also Witch House ambient post dubstep stuff. Awesome. Live as well he is a force to keep you engaged and enthralled throughout as he stalks the stage handing out roses to girls in the audience his face obscured just like in his promo pics with a black and white ying-yang scarf. The CloseToU single has just got a remix by the equally brilliant oOoOO turning it a bit more post trance and skittish, a nervous little beat pulsing through the track. Dream Boat cover an oOoOO song!

Dream Boat are from Rhode Island and have an EP/tape out on AMDISKS called Fevers. They rock a fierce witch house sound akin to †‡†. Its large its epic and it moves with a pace! Proper dance floor stuff if witch house ever had any dance floor to step on!

They have also covered oOoOOs 'No Summer4U' song and put it on soundcloud for the internet to share!

I guess this the first witch house cover, there have been a bunch of remixs and thats just part of the course but no covers up until now, I mean how could you do a cover of this stuff?

Mater Suspiria Vision have just released a Limited Edition of 10 Betamax and 10 VHS tapes called "On TV" (which obviously is now sold out) and have a CD called "Second Coming" out with Disaro.

Think fellow Disaro signings oOoOO, think late night film scores, think dream sequences, think satanic sex trances, think pagan geometric worship of John Carpenter.

Clipped films, slowed down unknown horrors, floating witches, echoing drug induced comas! Brilliant stuff!

//Tense// formed like all the best bands out of a hatred of the music they heard around them! So in 2006 they started their sound, industrial, bass, drum rhythms, Depeche Mode and sweaty angry dancefloors. Houston Texas birthed these replicants who like oOoOO have a release coming soon with the Disaro label. They also have an album "Memory" and a limited release Ep on tape out with Desire Records (available here).

One cant help but feel their music is being played in an unseen club down a back street somewhere every time you watch BladeRunner. Check out Twisted Wires to get another angle on the same sound and if that isnt enough to make you scream for robotic joy and sell your eyes for food credits then check the video below to hear them immediately! Where the singer can be heard at the begining saying "hey babe you're cute I'm gonna fuck you after the show!"

oOoOOs new video!

oOoOO are from San Fransisco, beloved of 20jazzfunkgreats and Tri Angle, this band bring the 80s grooving dark vibe back, like a tripping out Geneva Jacuzzi. Intense doom synths and foreboding, slow grinding echo beats and far way vocals but also a light San Fran melodic vibe. Surfing on valium, sand between the toes but wearing a large fur coat.

Below is their new video for Seaww which says a lot about this mysterious unpronounceable band. They also who have a 6 song very limited EP with hand made sleeves available from their myspace.
