Wow, with some great tracks and a video making/saucing ability along the lines of Cosmotropia De Xam § are fast becoming a major Witch House player! This video is brilliant, I love the multi generation video rip off quality, the colours and fuzz are great! Look out for more to come I'm sure!

Mushy videos.

Mushy is an Italian purveyor of dark droning blackened noir pop, its Witch House and miserablist prog and very beautiful.

Zola Jesus and her have been drinking at the same midnight pool of creativity but while Zola really pushes the vocal aspect Mushy is just as content to play with the sounds and drop a vocal out if need be.

She has a bunch of releases out already and a split release with Drugs for Drunks on Clan Destine Records coming soon!

In the mean time check out these two videos for her songs that drop her firmly into Witch House territory with one being made by § who are very much Housing a Witch in their music. I blogged about them for Mishka here.

Mater Susperia Vision, Zombie Rave 1+2 Collected.

It speeding up! First Mater Suspiria Vision (only in existence since the begining of this year!) would put out a video every 3 weeks then every week and now it seems like it every day!! How do they do it!! And more importantly is it a countdown to something? Having moved from YouTube to Vimeo for better quality they have released two new videos in as many days to accompany the July release of their Zombie Rave 1 + 2 Collected. A release limited to only 50 copies!

More releases are coming as well; ON TV II, which fans on Facebook could vote as to which cover would be used, comes out at the end of the month and the equally mysterious Vogue Witch, again in only an edition of 50! All releases are so small that its all about messaging them on myspace!

So like this is happening on the 24th April and is gonna be so good and everyone has to come. (Not before I get my ticket though!)

Wild Palms are just so good! They're kind of on tour/kind of just getting tons of gigs right now but don't miss this because its going to be amazing.

Postpunk but done with the proper fury and energy that it should have, not this weedy Flock Of Seagulls inspired stuff thats floating to the surface at the moment!
