I spent this morning listening to that Will.i.am and Britney single a bit too much and then went over to listen to this EP and the production is just seamless, so well done and so ahead of some imagined curve, brilliant. Ellie Herring is an electronic musician and producer from Kentucky, she released her first EP, Flailing In Attraction, in June last year and now has a limited edition CD release called Satiate out on the Mater Suspiria Vision label Phantasma Disques.
This is ambient Witchian styled experimentalism, deep and moody, drifting and chilled but tinged with intense dark elements. Fun to listen to if you have the time and want to really get into something, really listen to the whole album feel of things.
